40-year-old Carthaginian chariots refurbished for DBMM - shared by Vine Cholewa, 5 June 2020

Keith Trye’s 40-year-old (5th Edition?) Carthaginian chariots refurbished for DBMM. If you say that to young people today they say, “I wasn’t born then!”

Keith scratch-built the models using sheet metal for the chariots, airfix Napoleonic artillery wheels, and home-cast horses and charioteers🏹

Nick Buckby Those were the days.
Alastair Duncan Airfix WWI British artillery wheels powered my ancient brits chariots and napoleonic hussars were huns .....while Robin Hood became phalangites. Mind you they were all on single figure bases so it wasnt all halcyon times when it came to moving them
  • Mike Campbell I remember - all the ones with quarterstaves became pikemen -
  • Alastair Duncan And the bownen firing became pike as wll with plasticine helmets setvwith banana oil ....⁵
Aaron Jackson Is there a non 3D photo as I can’t zoom on 3D for some reason
