Wars of the Roses demo games at Call to Arms, Aug/Sep 2022 - posted by Peter Dunn, 31 May 2022

The Warlords haven't confirmed the date of Call to Arms yet (likely Aug/Sep 2022). The expectation is that we'll know by end of June.

I was wondering if there were any DBMMers interested in participating in some refights of War of the Roses at this year's CTA. The intention would to be to have two games - probably Towton and St. Albans. I have copies of the scenarios which featured a quarter of a century in Wargames Illustrated (DBM but easily translated to DBMM).

The gaming would be relaxed and casual and offer something different from the usual 400/450 point games.

I currently have based about 600 points of WotR elements and can provide all the terrain etc. No real limits on numbers that can participate as WotR gaming is ideal for multiplayer with assigned commands. Intent - especially with Towton - would be to seek to borrow additional elements from local gamers.

    For the last couple of years I have run a Team Yankee event.

    Will ponder. Be a good excuse to finish off some more WotR bases.
