A question Gents if you don’t mind. Mounted Bow. Would it be acceptable to base them with some mounted and some on foot? Given they move as Cv but fight as Bw? I was thinking…some of the Perry Light Cav with bows over shoulders and some Perry WOTR foot archers looking menacing on foot. What say the Hive Mind?

Gregory HeyesBows are usually mounted on a BW x 1/2BW stand, Cavalry on a BW x BW stand - I don't see any issue with the element consisting of one stand for the foot Bows, and the other BW x 1/2BW having the dismounted horses. Dragoons are kinda based this way in DBR.
Vincent CholewaJulian Hannam making wee vignettes on big bases is cool. You just need to be clear about the rules for when there are or are not duplicated elements for mounted and foot.
Vincent CholewaJulian Hannam p.10, Exchanging Mounted and Foot Elements, para. 5 starting "If so specified in their army list ..." is the section it would be good to clarify with your opponent before the game.
Nick BuckbyAs long as they do all their mounted moving in their first turn, I think one can dispense with the duplicate figures and just use foot ones?
Tilman DangI base mine like that, mixed on 1 base, 1BWx1BW, looks better. Base depth are usually not an issue, 1/2 or 1 BaseWidth preferably. Just make clear with your coplayers before battle, if you measure them as they are or as per rules for dismounted.
John EdmundsonNick Buckby There are different ways to represent them though, like being able to remount if they haven't tactical moved yet.
Personally I wouldn't have an issue with it if it's clarified to the opponent and the rules are able to be followed.
