Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan, reports from the Wellington Warlords yesterday: It was a collector's dream on Saturday at the Warlords as young Paul Graham's Lamming Greek infantry in his later Persians fronted up to the Naismith pike and and unknown make of fast knights under the command of mystery guest, Stephen Sands. So much fun was had they even played a second game!
Meanwhile, Raymond Dick dug out his dust covered Camillan Roman army of Minifigs and Garrison to carry the pax Romana to Russell Briant's Lusitanian force.
On table 3, Pharaoh Richard Mason reminded the Graham Starkey Samnites that blades are still factor 4 against everybody !!!
Manzikert was just around the corner for Barry Norris' Constantinian Byzantines after the Tagamata Cav S decided to attack but forgot to throw decent dice against Alastair Duncan's Alans.
