Two DBMM games at the Wellington Warlords on Saturday - from Alastair Duncan, 22 April 2024

At the Wellington Warlords on Saturday, from Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan: Michael Stonyer and Dr Reg skipped the DBMM bug but still managed to look ancient with a 15 mm DBA dark ages bash offering a path to bigger things.
Meanwhile, Daniel Wade’s Ancient Brits managed to overwhelm Barry Norris’s later Carthaginians - though it would have been a faster game if the respective warbands had remembered to kill their opponents in two ranks!

Somewhere in India, Richard Fields’ Classical Indians worked out that Bw(I) and elephants could easily see off Alastair Duncan’s Alan's!!!!

Not sure what this game was. Can anyone help?

Reg and Mike's game was 28mm and another system. To the Strongest?

John van den Hoeven that explains the round bases, many thanks. Did they play 15mm DBA, too?

Don't think so, Reg doesn't like DBX systems.I only know this since I was playing my first game of anything this year at Battlegroup WW2

I was hesitant to report my game with Barry as he has given me lots of help and advice with my list. I repaid his kindness by beating him.

Correction. Stonyer and the good Doctor were 28mm Lion Rampant medieval while the 15mm were not them.
This correction circulated in the interests of protecting ting reputations and mainstream dbmm journalism!!!!
