Julian Hannam Venetians in Greece or the list in Italy? I think the one in Greece has only a handful of knights.

Interesting to see that (as usual) most armies are from book 2 & 4. Always interesting to speculate why? Best loved periods of history?

Gavin Pearson book 2 possibly also in part because when we began gaming in the 1970s the rules and figures available were about from the end of what is now book 1 to the beginning of book 3.
Book 4? Maybe they are better known because there is more source material and they quite powerful armies, especially in 25/28mm.
