Dirk’s “The Persians Are Coming” series brings to mind a series in The NZ Wargamer in about 1980.

It was by Digby Green and was titled “The Last Charge of the Imperial Guard”.

By the eighth installment over at least 12 months, it inspired one or two letters to the Editor asking when they were going to bloody charge!

The question begs to be asked “ When will the Persians get here?”
