Starting work on converting Aventine EIR heavily armoured legionnaires into clubmen.
However, I’m struggling to come up with a version of a club for them to wield that I like.
Any suggestions or photo references anyone can suggest on either what they might have looked like or would seem appropriate?

- Russell BriantAuthorJosh Barton some were. The Middle IR list notes speculate they might have been Legionaries based in Palestine.

- Ben VartokThat was my initial thought as well! Interesting baggage could have a legionary vs a T34.
- Vincent CholewaAdminWhat an interesting question. I have skimmed through my several books but found nothing to help.

- Vincent CholewaAdminRussell Briant the mail hoods have a question mark beside them. Apparently the artwork showing them is worn and it is unclear if it is mail or a helmet worn over a fabric hood.

- John EdmundsonRussell Briant and here I was thinking a Mini Clubman and a clubman mini were different things. Turns out Yoda was right. 900 years of failing to grasp English word order really was no barrier to communication.1
