- Gerard Lelieveld Where did you source your banners from?
- John van den Hoeven Little Big Man
- Gerard Lelieveld John van den Hoeven cool. I'll check them out.
- Gerard Lelieveld I like the southern Han elephant list. I've got some to scratch build but been hard to find any references
- John van den Hoeven Yes they're really nice. These are Han Chinese its the closest I could find.Banners I mean.
- John van den Hoeven I found all my uniform sources by googling it,theres a fair bit there.
- Gerard Lelieveld Yeah just not any of what a Chinese elephant looks like
- John van den Hoeven Oh OK.
- John van den Hoeven Thanks Vince.Got blade, bowman, spearmen and light horse next.
- John van den Hoeven Assault group figures are some of the nicest ones around and they paint up really well.
- John van den Hoeven Drew's Ottomans came up really well.
- John van den Hoeven Thanks Allen. The amount of painting everyone is doing at the moment is inspiring, mind you we have a fair bit of spare time at the moment ๐
- Philip Gates I have a lot of their Neapolitan Spanish in my 1515 Spanish army. Nice, but a bit small. I am looking to replace them.
- John van den Hoeven These certainly aren't small.
- Philip Gates So is this an epiphany moment? A great cultural meltdown? A transition to the dark side? A giant rip in the space time continuum?
- Eddie Hudspith They are really nice John, where did you source the banners?
- John van den Hoeven Little Big Man.
- Kenneth Chan Nice. But the characters on the flags are not correct.
- Kenneth Chan Banners appears to be LBM
- John van den Hoeven I know they're Han from LBM but they're the closest i could find
- Kenneth Chan John van den Hoeven , I understand. But for your information even that is not correct. In Chinese culture Han used a different form of script for the characters. Those are for Tang or later.
- Kenneth Chan John van den Hoeven for you info. The one below shows the scripts I am referring to.
- John van den Hoeven Ok if those banners are Tang then they're closer to the ones i want.LBM are wrong then. To be more specific this army is Northern Wei around 580AD.
- Kenneth Chan John van den Hoeven yes LBM is not correct. The three above the one I circled are all Wei. The year are under the drawing.
- Kenneth Chan I post below all the script used
- Dirk Heinsius Kenneth Chan If you can give me comments on what the individual flags are, I’ll produce some masters. Work has left me quite good at graphics artistry using photoshop.
- Kenneth Chan Dirk Heinsius which individual flags you are after?
- Kenneth Chan Dirk Heinsius all those scripts are name of the Dynasties of China
- John van den Hoeven OK thanks for that
- Michael Stonyer Great work, really nice
- John van den Hoeven Thanks Mike, hows the Romans coming along?
- Michael Stonyer I've finished the Bd(S), and have now hooked into four elements of the Aux(๐)
