DBMM at the Wellington Warlords, inc. 15mm - from Alastair Duncan, posted 2 August 2026

Warlords games. Oldies but goodies. Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan, was there yesterday [August 1] and says:
Four games on three and a half boards! How could that be?
Having hired Kevin O'Kane’s Lydians, Ash squared off against Steve and Graham’s Samnites.
Next door, it was Keith V Trye and his early Carthaginians that saw off Philip Gates’ Seleucids, with Keith’s 1973 homecast elephants covering themselves in glory. Yes it is behind Phil’s pike.....
In contrast, Alastair’s 1971 Garrison Middle Assyrians were more sheep than wolves against Craig Ellison’s New Kingdom Egyptians (perhaps it was revenge for Alastair’s baggage massacre).

And, using a trusty old 6 x 4, Ray Pearce rolled put his 2026, brand new pike based lads against Paul Graham’s 1980s Mikes Models Persians.
