The Winter Cup starts this Saturday at the Hutt Valley Wargaming Club, with rounds 3 and 4 on Saturday August 22. I am bringing "Brent's Byzantines" - the Maurikian Byzantines Brent Senior-Partridge gave me. I have no idea what others are using, yet.
The feature of this competition is that on the first PIP die roll allies are reliable on 6 (only). If an army has no ally, then players nominate a sub-general for the same treatment. With friends like these, you too could be a Byzantine!
