Call to Arms, 8-9 August 2020 - updated by Paul Graham, 13 July 20209

Call to Arms. Good news all, the Call to Arms competition is on. We already have 10 registrations and will be allowed up to 18. There's a limit on the overall convention of 100 participants, including players, umpires, demo gamers, traders and spectators (if any). If we don't fill our quota, we'll have to concede those spots to other competitions, so it would be good to have the other 8 names as soon as possible. Toy soldiers again, yay!

Comments
  • Vincent Cholewa Great news, Paul. Thank you for all your work ðŸ˜Š
  • Andrew Bennetts Benny and Uncle Dickie will be representing Auckland!
  • Gerard Lelieveld When is it again?
  • Paul Graham An update on Call to Arms. We are 4 weeks away from this year's event, so it's time for a few reminders and promises. We have our full complement of 18 players, which is a fantastic effort when 2 months ago we wondered if Level One would ever come. I'll be sending out soon some sketches of the terrain on the 9 tables, which stays fixed for the whole competition - some you will recognise from previous years, and one or two will present new perspectives on old battlefields. Please in return, send in your army lists now (400 pts, 2 alternate lists).
  • Paul Graham Pushed <send> too quickly ... I wanted to add thet the competition will be named in honour of the Immortal Warlord Brent Senior-Partridge, sadly missed, and we'll have a suitable trophy for the winner to enjoy until the next Call to Arms.
