Paul Graham's Bretons faced off against Craig Ellisons Carolingians in a "tres Jolie" encounter. Meanwhile, the old foes, Carthage led by Barry Norris, faced of against vintage Garrison Republicans led by Raymond Dick.
Kevin OKanes brand new Nikephorian Byzantines took the field against Alastair Duncan’s Seljuks. As often the case with new armies it was grim news for the Byzantine cavalry though the skutatoi had a great day shooting down the Seljuk.
