 Finished these Legionnaire archers for my Middle Imperial Roman army. Ps(O), may support Bd(O).

These are the Aventine Miniatures Manuballista figures with two helmet variations.

  Not much. All infantry will be Aventine. The Legionnaire clubmen were.

  The Carroballista were Brent lucky dip. Hinchcliff as it turned out.

  The cavalry mostly Victrix though Emperor Julianus will be Aventine though will need to do something about their ‘orrible ‘orses.

    Julian Hannam the Aventine site says no rules yet accommodate Manuballista. We suggest treating them as light artillery….

    ….or Legionnaire archers me thinks.

    You do need to glue on the bow staves. Took me a while to twig what the thin metal rods in the bags were.
