Next project, a commission for an old friend, Brennan Tate. When I was a student in the 1980s I painted a Sarmatian army for Brennan. That would have been for WRG 7th edition rules. Now, Brennan is expanding and adapting the army for various options under DBMM, including Alan’s. He is keen the new figures are, as much as possible, painted in the same style as the original army. To be painted are light horse generals, a few elements of light horse, bow-armed psiloi, and baggage made up of the horse-holders and strings of horses.
