USPS stops delivering to 22 countries! Posted by Allen Yaxley, 2 October 2021

No postage out of the states plus 21 other countries……

Not enough to make it viable for air freight .

    Effective October 1, 2021, the Postal Service will suspend international mail acceptance to New Zealand until further notice due to unavailable transportation
    Happened to Australia about a fortnight ago. Combination of limited flights between USA and NZ and service at this end. USPS have had parcels sitting in Auckland for up to a month waiting to be processed by NZ Post

      I received two parcels this morning that tracking says arrived Auckland 7 September. Suspect USPS are sick of the complaints and increased costs of fulfilment

    Damm. Just placed an order from the States this morning. Oh well. Did feel guilty about adding to the lead mountain so now I'll have more time to erode that a bit.

    It is just the US Postal Service.....not internal post in general (or other carriers out of the USA).
    USPS has had problems getting reliable delivery to NZ. For instance I have tracked parcel which shows it has been sitting in Ho Chi Mihn since 4 June.
    They gave up on Oz two weeks ago and now doing the same to NZ

      Kevin McCarthy remember ordering toy soldiers and books from overseas in the 1970s and 1980s? At least six weeks for delivery sometimes three months depending on canoes connecting with each other or not 🛶 📦
