A surprising thought: Cleopatra VII (the most famous one, the last of the Ptolemaic Dynasty, and the one who looked like Elizabeth Taylor) lived closer in time to the first Moon landing than she did to the construction of the Pyramids of Giza!

Apollo 11 Moon landing, 1969. Death of Cleopatra, 30BC. 1,999 years.

The last of the Giza pyramids was built in about 2490 BC. Birth of Cleopatra, 69 BC. 2,421 years.
