*democracy and civilisation only available to Greek-speaking, non-slave land owning males of Thebes and allied city states.

  Questions are already being raised in the Senate, particularly with regards to the use of Armenian allies.

  To date in about 30% of my games with MIR using the Armenian ally (1xKn(F) AllyGen, 2 x Kn(F), 6 x LH(F) ), the Armenians have thrown 1 for PIPs …

     I gave up on the Armenian ally with my EI Romans. In 400AP they just do the Roman thing and an irregular ally just didn’t help.
