Any recommendations for Egyptian marines? Psted by Julian Hannam, 6 August 2024

Morning Gents. Has anyone got recommendations for Early Archaemenid era Egyptian Marine Sp and Assyrian Sp figures?

Seems Gippos have crocodile armour and axes and the Assyrians have the big package style shields. So unfortunately I can’t just use the “armoured Persian infantry” figs from Victrix.

Dirk Heinsius thanks mate, yes I have about 15 packs of various mounted and foot from victrix. Be nice to use some of them, maybe with modifications, but if that’s not reasonable then some alternative options would be great.

Dirk Hensius has some very nice Egyptian Marines in his Achaemenids. Not sure of the manufacturer
