Fiddling about with shading. Fireforge Byzantines (still). Now all I have to do is paint the tack (yes, that is a word in specialist use) for the horses and base them.

    Nuln oil/Strong tone is also good on armour or to panel line between colours without 'shading' too. Once you start using shades, it's hard to go back...
