DBMM New Zealand DBMM, De Bellis Magistrorum Militum, are wargames rules for ancient and medieval battles from 3000 BC to 1525 AD. The rules are written by Phil Barker and published by the Wargames Research Group Limited Publications. The rules, army lists and books are available from www.wrg.me.uk The purpose of this blog is to promote the rules in New Zealand by sharing information and photos. Early German Cavalry from the collection (vast) of Alistair Duncan. This Labour weekend the Heavymetal Convention took place in Pukekohe and Alistair racked up an impressive 91/100 score with various armies taking top spot. These Early Germans are of the Chatti variety and they certainly were chatti with my Romans!
