This is a modelling question but this esteemed audience is up to the task. What do we think of Vikings with Feathers (not horns!) on their helmets. Seems feasible to me! I just painted 120 Vikings and frankly the boringness of the helmets brought me to the brink of despair! Don’t they look spiffy!

Ben VartokThey look really good and modellers licence!. No one who was there to ask since Kirk Douglas passed, though you could watch his documentary -The Vikings for some further inspiration.5- Like

- John EdmundsonPersonally if I wanted feathered helmets I'd choose an army with feathered helmets. There are plenty. I think Vikings look good enough without. But that's just me. :^)2

- Julian HannamAuthorAaron Jackson interesting eh! We don't say that about Kn(S) in the French/Burgundian/HRE armies with feathers. Our 21st century sensibilities say Vikings with feathers = pansypants.

- Potbelly MiniaturesThe stereotype of Vikings as brutal he-men is, in point of fact, false. The sources indicate they were well-groomed, liked looking good, and enjoyed fashion.Feathers would not be out of character
