My step-sons got me some wargame related items for Christmas, for me to organise bits and pieces. I think they may have imagined that I would put figures in the containers, maybe while working on them. But they'll be ideal for organising small quantities of terrain materials, like different coloured flock, small stones etc.

Small containers, one already full of small rock fragments for my Samnite rock obstacles (TF). |

A bunch of handy containers and a small tray. |
|
A small drawer and a wee organizer for paint brushes etc. |

The last thing I opened was a surprise. What? I thought. A VHS video of The Princess Bride? They know we don't have a video player. But no, it held those small, useful little round containers.
And they said they thought I could put valuable wargame stuff in it and it would sit discretely on a shelf, where it would be safe from burglars :^) But, "No", said I. "The burglar would go, "Oh, The Princess Bride. The best movie of all time. I'll leave the rest of the stuff and just take that video!""
A great Christmas for me. Lots of goodies under the tree.
"No more rhymes now. I mean it." "Anybody want a peanut?" |
