Hi Guys, Allan and Vince invited me to put up a post about new stock items that may be of interest to the DBMM guys... [LENGTHY]...
We have recently added Scenic textures to our range, who are a local (Paekakariki ) based supplier who do all the typical gravels and ballasts and sponge flock type materials, and also a varied range of trees...
We also have some gorgeous new ruined terrain pieces in from GW for their 40k game... now I wouldnt normally recommend these, as they certainly have a sci-fi twist to their Cathedral like architecture, but if you leave the metal bits just painted as limestone... they work a treat... I'll share some pics so you can see what I mean...
We've also got an increased range of woodlands scenics tree sets in too, in various sizes and colours spring summer green and yellow orange for autumn...
Our Northstar order is finally en-route to the store this week after negotiating its way through the labyrinth that is NZ customs... in it we have a bunch of plastic terrain from renedra including gabbions, barrels, middle-east/north african buidlings, castle walls and towers, tents and more
Keep an eye on 'friends of kapiti hobbies' fb page to keep up to date with our new items in store.
I have also been experimenting with molding and casting terrain... I have made heaps of terrain over the years, and to be able to make a mold of them and then cast up the pieces for sale is a something I plan on getting started with this month, my next delivery of mold-making and casting material should arrive early this week. Projects in mind include, buildings, cottages, castle walls and towers, pillars, bunkers, and more besides...
We still have 50mm and 100mm metal spears/pikes in stock too.
And from Gamersgrass we recently received a restock, and new items we have not had in before including their ReadyBases Range. Gorgeous bases ready to go in both highland and winter themes, in a variety of round and oval sizes.
And of course we still have all the paints you could want from Citadel, Vallejo, Army-painter and Humbrol and spray primers from Army painter and Citadel.
And glues from Zap, Avetek, ArmyPainter, Citadel, Deluxe materials and more!
Check us out at www.kapitihobbies.com, and any orders or queries can be fired through to kapitihobbies@gmail.com, if you wish to check about stock availability first!
Thanks guys, I appreciate the opportunity to peddle my wares here
regards
Scott
