Lithuanian auxiliaries - posted by Vince Cholewa, 18 December 2025

Finished last night, 10 elements of Lithuanian auxiliaries for my Lithuanian army, 1500 AD. It’s taken me a while as work and the rest of life got in the way of wargaming. Twenty-five of the figures started as Gripping Beast dark ages Picts. I added bits and pieces from Perry Miniatures Wars of the Roses mercenary infantry, Fireforge steppe warriors and ‘useful’ bits we find in our spares boxes. The other five figures were metal Vikings from a manufacturer I have forgotten (found in my spares box, too). All, including the Vikings, from www.kapitihobbies.com

Alastair Duncan interesting politics before the date of my army: cousin vs cousin vying to be Grand Duke. All sorts of allies were involved; yes, including two of the German military orders.
