Lithuanian archers - posted by Vince Cholewa, 19 December 2025

Next painting project underway, 10 elements of Lithuanian archers, also for my Lithuanian army, 1500 AD. They are ‘ordinary psiloi’ in DBMM, while in other rules they would be called light infantry, skirmishers or a similar name. All bar one of the bodies are from the Gripping Beast dark ages archers box with heads from that box and also from Gripping Beast dark ages Picts and Perry Miniatures Wars of the Roses mercenary infantry. The standard bearer is a Fire Forge steppe warrior body, Perry’s mercenary infantry head and Pictish shield. All from www.kapitihobbies.com

Body is dark ages archer and the hooded head is from the Picts box. I’d used all the cloaks so this one is made of Tamiya modelling putty.
