This is such a lovely
short film from 1975 about Hinchcliffe Miniatures. It is a bit slow by the standards of today's social media but is a fascinating view of a different time. Meet Frank Hincliffe, Peter Gilder and other greats of our hobby. OMG! before digital processes, designing, manufacturing and distributing toy soldiers was very labour intensive.
Sadly, Facebook algorithms down weight (is that a real phrase?) posts that take you outside the Facebook family to places like YouTube, so please like, comment and share and more people will see this in their newsfeed.

Eddie HudspithPeter Gilder helped on a TV series called battleground which was hosted by Edward Woodwood.It featured beautiful terrain and a host of Hinchcliffe figures.

Eddie HudspithKevin McCarthy yes it covered the background to the battle and had Nelson's ships come up and attack while the French frantically tried to get their crews to respond...it was pretty one way traffic as I remember.I can't remember what make of ships were used but the game looked great.
