Richard Foster will be running NatCon (April 16-17) - shared by Vince Cholewa, 11 March 2022

Hi all, Richard Foster has taken up running NatCon. Anyone interested in playing, wanting to register and with questions about the rules of engagement should contact Richard directly at richardfoster@outlook.co.nz or call him on 021 507 107.
Richard says he has only a couple of book 4 entries so far. Unless he gets another four the competition will be limited to armies before 1070AD.

NatCon: 16-17 April 2022, St Brendan’s School, Trentham, Upper Hutt (the Hutt Club’s regular meeting venue)

Jonathan Carryer
I'd love to but, unfortunately, all I have is a 15mm army

Jonathan Carryer I have never read the rules from cover to cover. The rule book is hard going but the rules produce great games on the table top. Gamers are always happy to help ðŸ˜Š

Jonathan Carryer The best way I've found to get across the rules is not so much to try and read them cover to cover but to pick a topic (e.g. Pip expenditure, maneuvering groups, columns and elements, moving into Close Combat etc) and just spend an hour (with figures and dice) going through that topic thoroughly. Small bites and chew well ðŸ˜‰
