At the Featherston Fusiliers today there was a mini-meeting of the Masterton Marauders as I took on Neil Williamson's Avars with my new Sung Chinese. I made a couple of tweaks from the first outing, borrowing baggage from the Assyrians to stand in for yet to be painted Chinese baggage, and had better results. When we called it after 3 1/2 intriguing and hard-fought hours I was ahead for a 14-11 result. Neil's not had a lot of luck against my new armies...
