Following Alastair's post this morning about Brent's figures (https://www.facebook.com/groups/824840264342234/permalink/1643595422466710), here are the messages that were emailed by Mark and Alastair:
Hi all
Al Duncan and I [Mark] helped Paul Partridge clean out Brent's house last weekend and with Paul's permission, we can on-sell any of Brent's figures before the house is cleared out for sale very shortly.
I have access to the house and can take people down from the warlords there on Saturday 24 Oct or at other times by arrangement. However, there is no power in the house so it has to be in daylight.
The deal with Paul is what is sold I will pass the proceeds onto him, and the remainder will either get junked, or sold by auction or go to a charity. Still fluid on this later point. The house will probably be fully cleared in 2 weeks so this is only a short window.
Brent’s collection is very large. About 80% is painted by Brent. About 10% is acquired from others, and around 10% is unpainted or spray under coated. Virtually all is based, as Brent painted them based.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with many of the figures so cannot tell you the range of the unpainted, or painted. But as you will be aware, Brent had a very wide range of interest.
Vince and Allen, I don’t have a good email list, so you all please send this on
I will accept fair offers for figures on behalf of Paul, cash or transfer to my bank account on the day. You can take the figures away in the storage boxes they are in provided you don’t leave any figures without boxes, or provide your own.
regards
Mark Pickup
