Hopefully you have been keeping yourselves safe and well since VC 2020 and for those that were able to attend Call to Arms on the weekend, had a really good time. Wargaming projects have been completed and many more started if you are anything like me 
What are the changes coming up for ValleyCon? The first, and most major change is the date. After the last couple of years of competing with extraordinarily high temperatures in late January, we have made the big decision to move ValleyCon later in the year. The date that we have booked is the weekend of the 15th and 16th of May. For us, this is the first club meeting of May so it made sense to use that date.
The second change came from trying to secure a larger space. Unfortunately we had to limit numbers (and turn a few people away) at VC2020 so a larger hall was required. Moving the date for next year's event to May means that we can go back to the larger Expressions hall - but not have to worry about the heat so much!
Already we have umpires for Flames of War, DBMM, Age of Sigmar and WH40K but we will have space for more competitions. If you'd like to run an event at ValleyCon next May, please get in touch. We should have more than enough space.
Hopefully you won't be too surprised about the changes and can make time in your calendar for May 2021. Look out for more updates via our facebook page (Hutt Miniature Wargaming Club) and the various game system pages for each of the competitions.
