I do not own the Roads but I have Fat Frank's rivers and they are great.
He messaged him and made my rivers 40mm wide.…

- Will HowardYes I too can heartily recommend Fat Frank's Roads & hedgerows. I just got a big order delivered last week. With all the variations I can do a proper road network with lots of alternative layouts. Got me covered for Ancients right the way through to the early 20 century especially for Europe/North America.2

- Hey Josh, I've had the same issues. I've just received three different roads from Deep Cut Studios. Excellent Quality printed Mouse pad roads six feet in length. One dirt road , one paved road and one stone road. Light, easy to transport, and really good to look at. Rolled up their about the size of a small soft ball.I'll bring them along to the first meetings in September, so you can have a look at them.2

- I use sheets of grit paper that are used to line the bottom of bird cages. cut into strips, they make excellent roads.

I bought a few A4 sheets of brown felt. Cut them into strips. Use a vivid to mark wheel ruts. Then brush on varying shades of paints. I then flock the edges, press in the first layer firmly.
The pva glue soaks in and stiffens the fabric but it still remains pliable.
There is a a video on it on you tube.

- Authorthey look good, but to be honest I guess I'm just not a fan of building terrain so I decided I might as well invest in some and spend the time saved to paint more models
