Macbeth is coming! Posted by Craig Mabon, 14 January 2020

What I did in my holidays... 24 elements of Pk(F), 6 elements of Bd(O), 6 of Bd(I), 7 of Ps(O), 6 of Ps(S), 5 LH(O), 4 Kn(F) and 1 Cv(O) - all for the Pre-Feudal Scots.

Dirk Heinsius Very nice, how far off 400 ap are you

  • Craig Mabon Currently 310AP - with a pile of 3 and 2 AP elements to go. Ultimately the plans call for twice as many Spearmen, javelinmen and archers, some more light horse, a couple of cavalry (to keep the general company), 2 more elements of huscarls and twice as many hird.

  • Dirk Heinsius I’m aiming to get my Romans finished by Easter

Vincent Cholewa I believe someone far more literate than me foretold:
"Macbeth shall never vanquished be until
Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane hill
See More
  • Craig Mabon That doesn't mean that my opponents get to move woods about the board against me!! It might be permitted to Anglo-Danes with Pre-Feudal Scots allies (Earl Siward of Northumberland & his ally Malcolm Canmore).

Vincent Cholewa Hi Craig following our chat this morning, mounted cannot pass through pikes or hordes (p.32, para 3, 1st bullet point).
  • Craig Mabon Not a problem - the intent is to have the knights in reserve to plug holes rather than as a counterpunch through the spearmen.
