Back to painting after holiday - posted by Vince Cholewa, 21 August 2019

This morning before work I painted toy soldiers for the first time in a month. We have been away in Canada visiting the Canuck whanau, including three grandchildren. Vancouver airport offered inspiration for a new scale!

  • Russell Briant Ah. The classic 1:1.25 scale. Popular in Canada and Lapland where whittling larger than life size ‘heroic’ figures (miniatures doesn’t work in this context) from Douglas Fir is a time honored way to fill in those long winter nights!

It’s a fact! Look it up on the Internet! ðŸ˜‡
