AWC meeting today in Balmoral, Auckland. Five tables, DBR 15mm, Russian Civil war 15mm and a couple of DBMM 28mm games. Nabateans and Arameans were still going when I left. Wayne W.J. Watts and I played with my Timurids going up aganist Wayne's Navarrese. He used a knight heavy heavy knight list with 20+ elements including the King.

It's been a while so I forgot the following useful things, my artillary is superior and my C n C is brilliant. After two bounds of shooting I remembered the superior but it wasn't till after the game ended that Wayne asked me why I didn't use a brilliant stroke?

The Timurid hostage screen excelled, one inferior horde took out both the leading Kn S and following Kn O and another Kn died to inferior horde as well. The knights got stuck in the horde and I put a LH S command into one side and Cav S into the other and also got in behind them.
