Heaps of pics from five DBMM games at the Wellington Warlords - from Mike Stonyer, 9 July 2025

Michael Stonyer has sent heaps of pics from the five DBMM games at the Wellington Warlords on Saturday (yes, he has seen the Lee Miller movie! I’ll post the link in the comments). I will do the best I can with the captions; if you were there or weren't but have more information, please add to the captions. Mike says:
"It was like the old days, Ancients dominating the club floor ! Players and their armies were:
"Barry Norris and his Bastarnae vs Bruce Fergusson and his successful successors
"Drew Fortune’s early first century Germans vs Philip Gates’s auxiliary heavy successors
"Craig Ellison's Successors vs Paul Graham's Persians with Scythed Chariots (X) and Persians. Notable for the assault of a sole scythed chariot on the Successor line.
"Richard Field’s Polybian Romans vs Alastair Duncan’s Hellenistic Greeks: (The Victor)

"Richard Mason's Achaemenid Persian vs Medieval English ( I think) commanded by that nice new bloke, who only joined us recently."

A view of part of the hall. The Wellington Warlords meet at the Johnsonville Club, 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday each month.

Basternae's friends and relations
Alastair Duncan's Hellenistic Greek camp (far too nice to be called " baggage"!)

Successors or Hellenistic Greeks?
Philip Gates
Actually, Mithradatic.
