Thank you so much to everyone for taking part and making it a successful, fun two days of playing with toy soldiers. I thought there was a really good buzz around the hall: engaged, competitive in a fun way, and enjoying each other’s company.

Having run Greek, Roman and Persian themes for the first three years, there is keen interest in a medieval theme next year. More to come!

| My third round opponent, Keith Trye, who used Marian Romans with an inert CnC. I was using Thracians and my light horse flank march arrived on Keith’s right soon after this pic was taken. It was going very well, until its general fell off his horse, breaking the command. The game ended Thracians 11-14 Romans. |
