A reminder of our first offering of a DBMM comp in Taranaki in nearly 20 years. Please support us so we can do this again. We are perfectly placed as a midpoint between Auckland and Wellington for those who are tired of attending either of those gridlocked metropolis (metropoli?)
"Under the Mountain" DBMM Matariki - also incorporating "Nationals 2026"
Matariki weekend 11th and 12th July 2026, New Plymouth
Venue: Blind Low Vision NZ Hall, 129 Vivian St (one way street), New Plymouth.
Registrations are open Registration Fee of $50.00
One group 450AP, minimum of 10 players to make it viable. May split into 2 groups if numbers allow. Lists to (Keith V Trye) for checking by 20th June 2026.
4 hour games
Morning Rounds: 9:00am to 1:00pm Afternoon Rounds: 2:00pm to 6:00pm (Sat and Sunday)
Trophies will be awarded for:
1. First place
2. Second place
3.Third place.
Best Painted Army
There will only be Tea and Coffee supplied at venue. The venue is about 1km to Cafe/Restaurants. So come prepared. There will be a Saturday Night Curry in Town, please let us know if attending.
We are also looking at lunch catering for those who want to engage in that, probably $25ish for a lunch pack delivered to the venue.
There is plenty of quality Accommodation in New Plymouth.
