John Edmundson the charge down the hill at Vienna, 1683 is often called the biggest cavalry charge in history. Estimated 18,000 horsemen, not all Poles and not all the Poles were hussars.
As an aside, Polish military historian, Richard Brzezinski, says there is no historical evidence at all for the classic double-wings ever being worn in battle. Various winged devices were worn in different ways from the 15th century but the double wings seem to have been ceremonial only.

John Edmundson Brzezinski was a historical advisor on a few movies. He comments in his history of Polish hussars that movie makers wouldn’t accept winged hussars without wings in battle 🎥
