So after another loss for the Greeks today, my partner wisely just said 'you should just play with the rules and use more cavalry'
Given that does anyone have 3-6 victrix greek cav they'd be willing to part with?

Vincent CholewaAdminGroup expert+1Good on you, Josh. Not that I have any Victrix cavalry but tinkering and adjusting lists is one the great traditions of wargaming. - Paul GrahamHey Josh, I may have the Greek cavalry you're looking for, I'll contact you separately. It was a closer game than Josh makes out. When the Greeks conceded, the Persians (Late Achaemenids) had 36% losses with one command shattered and the other two commands only a couple of elements away from disheartened. The main Greek hoplite block only started to crumble when its flanking psiloi had been cleared by the Persian auxiliaries and cavalry, and it took the Persian's own Greek mercenaries to main inroads into Josh's phalanx.
