Persians, cats and Egyptians - John Dods poking Dirkses, in a friendly way, 30 June 2023

 Dirk Heinsius

According to legend, the Persian King Cambyses II had his men carry cats into the Battle of Pelusium against the ancient Egyptians. Since the Egyptians revered cats so highly, they fled rather than fight.

And extra lunch perhaps? What about Persians who had cat allergies? Did HR do proper consultation and engage with the army before employing this stratagem and is it 5 or 10 points for "Cat Carry" depending on whether you have pet cages or not?
