My Guti (Zagros Highlanders)played Alastairs Middle Assyrians yesterday in what ended up a very close game. My flank march came on fairly early and did well but it was not enough and in the end my left flank collapsed before I could do the same to Alastairs.

- Vincent CholewaAdminGroup expertMany thanks for posting, JohnCoincidentally, there was an interesting discussion on line about WWg(S). It turns out the Assyrian lists that include siege engines have notes in the lists that say these engines can only be deployed if the enemy has PF. That does not stop an Assyrian player choosing WWg(S) but it does mean they cannot be deployed if their opponent does have PF on the table.2

- Ben VartokVincent Cholewa Assyrians, any other armies that have WWg (S)? I have a Siege Tower to paint and that could be the start of an army?

- Vincent CholewaAdminGroup expertBen Vartok the restriction is list specific. Check the notes at the end in the list you are planning

- John EdmundsonVincent Cholewa There are a few things like this; another is the Arabo-Aramaic list, where artillery can only be deployed if PF are present. Or even naval needing an appropriate water feature. And these things look really cool.
