Hutt Valley wargaming Club meeting, short video - posted by Vince Cholewa, 11 September 2022

A great fun meeting the Hutt Valley Wargaming Club yesterday. Seven tables were being used for 25/28mm DBMM, five for Neil Williamson’s DBMM 200 competition, Recoil! and two for friendly, bigger points games outside the competition. Recoil! uses preset terrain and there was a sixth table should that be needed for the draw.

Che Tibby (Etruscans) played Dirk Heinsius (Early Achaemenid Persians) and Drew Fortune (Ottoman Turks) played John van den Hoeven (Serbians).

There were also a very big American Civil War game, World War 2, modern, Fantasy and SF games.

  By the end of the day, spectators, friends, waifs and strays had been through the hall that would have been well over 50 people.
