A question for the hive mind. I picked up Josh's Dialami army (thanks Josh!). It's now my lockdown project. The bow troops can count as either Bow or Ps. Ps support Aux. I don't play DBMM enough to work out which option would be best, or what ratio of bow to Ps would be best....what would you do.....

- Barry NorrisAux(S) are pretty tough - especially in terrain. Ps(O) helps a bit but only against warband and non-Kn mounted. So I would not forego Ps but at least some Bw(O) is more aggressive and will break up formations. You can even mount them and run with the Cv. This assumes a regular army of course. Depends on your inclination to aggression. I'd run about 50/50. But I'll defer to Mr Yaxley who operates Buyids in his downtime from the Norse-Irish.2

- Allen YaxleyI have the Dialami . Usually run the 16 Cv(s), 4 Kn(I) . But two lists for foot using Bw(o) or Ps(o) to support Ax(s).Great army , fun to use .Some comps allow two lists. The Bw are always a better option in my opinion.2

- Richard FosterHi Kelly, you can have lots of them, 1 per Ax S so I would have 2 units of 4 Bw O elements (4 to a base) which can and should have mounts and 12 Ps O elements (2 to a base). The supporting Ps O are excellent against Warbands so you always want them. To conclude 32 bow figures for the 8 Bw O and 24 bow figures for the Ps O.2
