Philip Gates Once I have sorted out what army I'm using and put it in a toolbox, I put eveything I need into a largeish sports bag. So far I've no problem with it and I use public transport almost all the time.

Did the latch break off or just turn to the open position and “fall out” for lack of a better term?

For the latter I used to lock the latch in with a wooden peg (on a string) through the latch loop.

Russell Briant opened position, but it's gotten really loose - could you show me?

Josh Barton does it have a padlock loop? If so just replacing putting a padlock through that with a wooden dowel to stop the catch being able to come open and make it easier to remove.
