Kushans and DBMM 200, posted by Craig Mabon, 18 January 2019

Since Vince asked so nicely in an earlier post, and it's a quiet Friday afternoon here's some photos from our local DBMM 200 tournament back on 2 Jan and my recent engagement with Paul Graham. First time I'd fought Paul at Ancients despite knowing him for over 40 years.
Russell Briant We need you to have more quiet Friday afternoons. Clearly.

Thanks for helping mine.

Vincent Cholewa Great work, Craig. Parthians with elephants? 🐘

Craig Mabon The Great Kushan Empire - yes Parthians with elephants (and pike). Mind you, Paul Graham calls them 'fake Parthians'.

[Apologies for the order of the pictures. I find control of picture placement difficult in blogger.]

Kushans (Craig) vs Huns (Neil) - the elephants cross the scrub only to find the Hun has buggered off.
Kushans (Craig) vs Middle Imperial Romans (Jim Hoskin) - the Roman deployment
Against Paul Graham's Pyrrhic the flank march finally arrives
Assyrians Craig Mabon vs Pyrrhics Paul Graham - the Assyrian centre where the psiloi are trying their best against the phalanx
