Victix knights are very good models but need a little attention - here I've put small card inserts so more than one of the hooves is actually glued to the base! Otherwise way too likely to snap off in use

I really dont think the eye notices those bits of built-up ground under raised horses' hooves that you see in older castings. Cover it in flock and/or hide it behind a tuft of grass and it's fine.

horses have to be slightly offset to fit on 60mm width (depth here is also 60). Scabbards need to be as vertical as possible.

60mm depth? These are BIG!

But the results are rather pretty.

Get out of the way of that lot! Nice work

Fitting Victrix horses to a DBMM base is car parking of the first order, particularly three to a base.
I recommend angle parking and checking each base as you prepare to glue to the front, the rear and both sides against all the other bases you have finished. All edges need to be able to abut.
Trimming the surf board bases sometimes needed for those long striding horses.
Also need to look out for riders arms and legs.

Nice painting and many thanks for the suggestions about basing such big figures.
