Ottomans vs Timurids - posted by Ben Vartok, 26 November 2024

Tuesday DBMM action just off the "Mile of Style" (Ponsonby road) at Andrew Bennetts house. Game played al fresco with single origin coffee, pain chocolate, baguettes and a southern european styled garden/courtyard. Very civilised....and then there was me, struth!

Benny's Ottoman vs my Timurids, 400 points on an 8 x 6. Much movement on both sides with the Timurids having a lot of pips. That said the Serbian Ally on the Turkish side seemed to roll nothing but 6's for pips.
A good game that I really enjoyed. Resulted in a 13/12 draw to the Timurids with both sides losing 10%. Artillery S in the centre of the table pushed action to the sides and probably limited it somewhat. Though the Timurids moved the bombards 3 times in an attempt to find something to shoot at.

Tilman Dang It's meant to be a bunch of cattle or camels stampeding as "Expendables" but I didn't have any of those so used what I had in the box....surplus african animals. The other base has a Rhino.....

Is this based on the Coalition partners internal dispute mechanism?

Tilman Dang

Vincent Cholewa And I thought, what's 'pain chocolate', 100% cacao so bitter it hurts to eat? Then I went, oh, it's French . . .
