Tuesday DBMM action just off the "Mile of Style" (Ponsonby road) at Andrew Bennetts house. Game played al fresco with single origin coffee, pain chocolate, baguettes and a southern european styled garden/courtyard. Very civilised....and then there was me, struth!
Benny's Ottoman vs my Timurids, 400 points on an 8 x 6. Much movement on both sides with the Timurids having a lot of pips. That said the Serbian Ally on the Turkish side seemed to roll nothing but 6's for pips.
A
good game that I really enjoyed. Resulted in a 13/12 draw to the Timurids with both sides losing 10%. Artillery S in the centre of the table pushed action to the sides and probably limited it somewhat. Though the Timurids moved the bombards 3 times in an attempt to find something to shoot at.
