Ancient British vs Middle Imperial Romans - posted by Daniel Wade, 8 December 2024

Played Michael Stonyer yesterday at Warlords. I had my Ancient Britons verses Mikes Middle Romans. Rather than do my usual swamp tactic I had suggested to me trying a flank march. However by the end of turn six the reserves had not turned up and my centre had been broken, my right flank was also disheartened so we called it done. Just out of interest I threw some dice for turn seven and the flank march still wasn’t interested in turning up. Must have been enjoying themselves too much in Londinium.

😤 Lunch was good though.

If I used the Claudius invasion of Britain army, that would be 525 AP because he is inert.

Vincent Cholewa I was just looking at that list. Haven't looked into what inert means. I doubt I'd get that big as I am missing some elements from my order.

Daniel Wade you get an additional 75 AP but every general takes -1 on their PIP die every bound of the game. Big but cumbersome.
