A busy day at Pukekohe on Sunday - posted by Andrew Bennetts, 7 July 2024

A busy day at Pukekohe today. 3 full size games of DBMM and a training game at 120AP for a newcomer. Also in the hall were a number of 15mm games of FoG-AM. Remember FoG? Apparently a new edition has been published recently.
In DBMM games:
John's Sassanid Persians (with a little help from a Hun Sabir ally) overran Mark's Polybian Romans.
Gerard's Warring States Chinese beat James's Middle Imperial Romans (a bad day for the Romans all round!)

Wayne's Navarrese saw to Ben's Timurids, mainly due to heroics of Wayne's English Ally General (the Black Prince no less) who seemed to run through the Timurids single handed!

Great game. That English Prince accounted for a Reg Cv S, a Reg Cv S Sub general and two expendables! Edward also survived an expendable vs Kn combat and being hard flanked while my sub general had a go.......

John Edmundson Sassanid Cv(S) ran over the Roman cavalry, Sabir Wb smashed the legions. Sassanids were the regular option
